Problem Note 36799: The SAS® Information Delivery Portal might not deploy after you apply a SAS® maintenance release

DetailsAboutRate It

The SAS Information Delivery Portal might fail to deploy in the Web Application Server after you apply a SAS maintenance release.

This problem occurs if you are using Java 2 Security, a restrictive policy file to limit the access given to third-party Web applications (IBM Websphere, Oracle WebLogic, or Red Hat JBoss), and if you did not select to reconfigure the Web Application Server when rebuilding SAS Web applications using the SAS® Deployment Manager after applying maintenance.

To correct the problem, when you rebuild and redeploy the Web applications using the SAS Deployment Manager, select the check box for the Web application server also. Checking this box causes the application to rebuild the restrictive policy files and redeploy them to the Web application server.
